Renny Doyle’s 10th Annual Gathering of Detailing Professionals

Last Wednesday night during SEMA week, Renny Doyle hosted his Annual Gathering of Detailing Professionals. This was the 10^th year of this incredible event, but this year was a little different.

This event has grown from a dozen detailers back in 2011 to 300 in 2019, 500 in 2022 and now nearly 600 in 2023. All that growth gave Renny the idea to do something great with it, which is why we turned it into a charitable event and partnered with SEMA Cares.

Our goal this year was to raise $25,000 for SEMA Cares, which raises money for three children’s charities…

· Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer

· Childhelp prevention and treatment of child abuse

· Victory Junction camp for children with serious illnesses

Why? In addition to doing something really good for kids in need, we wanted to bring the entire detailing industry to the forefront of the automotive aftermarket and SEMA. Last week, we exceeded our goal and raised over $27,000, which means we are off to a great start and plan to turn this into an annual tradition.

We achieved our goal through raffle tickets, auction items and direct donations. Of course, we couldn’t have done it without our sponsors…
