Operation Sleigh Shine 2021 was a Success!

Group of people and children by a car;

Scott Macha of Total Eclipse Detailing in Oxford, Maine started Operation Sleigh Shine six years ago. The goal of the event is to detail the family car of a deserving member of our armed forces while raising money through donations and raffle prizes to purchase Christmas gifts for their kids.

Each year the event gets better and better, and this year did not disappoint. Scott Macha and members of The Detail Mafia came together in at Total Eclipse Detailing in Oxford, Main, Perfection Plus Auto Salon in Redmond, Oregon and Platinum Plus Detailing in Costa Mesa.

Three active-duty members of the Armed Forces and their families were honored as part of this year’s events. It is not only for those who have served their country, but who have also given much to their community, and made significant sacrifices. Like all families chosen for Operation Sleigh Shine every year, these three families were chosen by their peers and commanding officers for their outstanding military and community service.

The teams provided a complete interior detail, paint correction and ceramic coating to transform the family’s cars to like-new condition. The Families were also sent the home with a huge bundle of wrapped, new Christmas gifts purchased by The Detail Mafia with donated funds.

Operation Sleigh Shine couldn’t happen without the help of generous sponsors like P&S Detail Products, Flex Tools, Lake Country Manufacturing , The Rag Company, Solution Finish and more!

Next year’s event is already set for December Saturday, December 10, 2022. Want to participate? Reach out to Chris Woolman with Detailing Success and The Detail Mafia at chris@detailingsuccess.com or (818) 564-5839 or Scott Macha at totaleclipsedetailing@gmail.com

We've all been there: yearning for that universal thumbs up, the constant validation. But here's the deal: the quest for everyone's approval is a recipe for disappointment.
