Detailer Tip: P&S Brake Buster in an IK Foam Pro 12 Sprayer and More!

Foamy soap sprayed on a car wheel by a black and white sprayer, outside.

Want to change your life when it comes to wheel cleaning? Try using P&S Brake Buster in the new IK Foam Pro 12 Sprayer. It really is a life changing way to use Brake Buster. Here’s what it can do for you…

  • Save time applying Brake Buster
  • Get better more even coverage
  • Brake Buster will foam instantly for better cleaning and agitation
  • No more sore a tired wrists from your old trigger sprayer
  • You will actually use less product

So, in order to accomplish all this, you need to dilute Brake Buster in the IK Foam Pro 12 Sprayer at a ratio of 1:7. That means 1 part Brake Buster for every 7 parts water. Here’s some simple math…

There are 128 ounces in a gallon. If you need a 1:7 dilution, just take 128 divided by 7. You’ll get 18.28, which means you need 18.28 ounces of Brake Buster added to one gallon of water. Now, the IK Foam Pro 12 holds two gallons of water, so if you fill it full, you will need to add 36.56 ounces of Brake Buster (18.28 x 2). That’s it! Now, I know what you are thinking. How do I measure 36.56 ounces? Well, go ahead and round down or up, your choice between 36 and 37 ounces. It won’t make a noticable difference either way.

Now, want to add another layer of cool to your wheel cleaning? Pretreat the wheel using the all new P&S Iron Buster for additional wheel cleaning abilities. This is especially great for extremely dirty, or abused wheels. Top that with your Brake Buster in the IK Foam Pro 12 Sprayer, agitate and scrub as you normally would, and voilà! You will have some incredible cleaning abilities. Sure, acid will clean better and faster, but it can also damage wheels and you and your lungs. Stay away from that stuff!
